Here’s a bus hot rod that’s not only cool and badass but also carries a purpose sure to move anyone. It’s a blown 1949 Ford School Bus hot rod, and it’s a ride purposely built to inspire kids and help charities across the world.
This hot rod is called The Shortcut High Bus, and it combines the body of a customized ’49 Ford school bus and a frame off of a Cadillac Eldorado. And the end-result looks flawless with everything in it flowing as if an Eldorado and a Ford school bus were made for each other.
It features a 6.6L 403 Oldsmobile engine souped up by a blower projecting on the front.
And the best part about this hot rod? It does not only turn heads but makes sure anyone looking will be left inspired by the inspiring message written on its body. The builder/owner uses it to promote education for children and aid charity events such as collecting school supplies for the kids over in Iraq, Afghanistan, etc.
